Super Bowl Sunday Appetizer!

Executive Chef, Don Morlan, shares with you an easy, classic appetizer that your friends and family are sure to enjoy!  Tomato Bruschetta will be a hit at your Super Bowl Party and takes no time to make.

Tomato Bruschetta

1 loaf Sour Baguette Bread, sliced (15-20 pieces)

1 cup Diced Tomato

1/2 cup Diced Red Onion

1/4 cup White Balsamic Vinegar

1/4 cup Chiffonade (Diced) Basil

4 tblsp Sugar

2/3 cup Softened Cream Cheese

1/3 cup Creamy Goat Cheese

Olive Oil, for drizzling

In a bowl toss together tomato, red onion, white balsamic vinegar, basil, and sugar.  Let sit while preparing the bread and cheese to bring out the flavors.

Preheat your convection oven or broiler to 350 degrees.  Slice baguette bread cut on bias.  Place bread slices on a broiler pan and drizzle each with olive oil.  Toast bread slices in oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, be sure to keep an eye on it!

Mix cream cheese and goat cheese together with a food processor or hand mixer.  Spread a think layer over each toasted bread slice.  Then top with the tomato mixture.
